Bank of America - NOT America's bank (PRANK of America)
1) Have you had ethical issues with Bank of America?
Bank of America punished me for paying off my debt.
Because I had a little extra cash flow than usual I used the excess money to pay down my debt to the Bank of America in three larger than normal payments.
For doing this Bank of America almost doubled the interest on my account. In order to dispute this action I was given two alternative ultimatums. 1) either continue using my card while paying the exhorbant interest rate OR 2) never use my card again and maintain the lower, more reasonable interest rate on the remaining balance. Well, what good does that do me?
Every person that I know that banks with Prank of America has major issues with them.
In fact even one of their very own bankers told me that she has difficulty with her Bank of America accounts.
My Reaction: I closed the account using a "0% for 6-months" introductory offer from my other bank - Wells Fargo. I have not used the Bank of America Card since.
Why (after CLOSING my Prank of America Card account) does Prank of America continue to send mailings and e-mails trying to get me to continue using their card? Why would I want to continue doing business with a corrupt and unethical company? I wish Bank of America would STOP HARASSING ME!!!!!!
2) HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU HAVE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT Bank of America's TERRIBLY USER-UNfriendly WEBSITE BEFORE THEY WILL GET OFF THEIR ASS AND CHANGE IT?

DISCOVER CARD - The Card that Pays you Back with FRAUD
Have you had difficulties with Discover Card's TERRIBLE customer service, UNCOOPERATIVE policies, ARGUMENTATIVE representatives, UNETHICAL business practices, and COMPLETE DISREGARD for the laws set forth under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Credit Billing Act, Federal Truth in Lending Act?
Please share your stories.
I'll be updating you with the frustrations of my fight with Discover.
1) Be aware that the FDIC's person that oversees complaints against Discover Card is a former employee of Discover and most likely still retains stock options, etc. through Discover.
He will always rule in Discover Card's favor even when they are blatently disobeying the laws set forth by the Fair Credit Reporting/Billing Acts. As I interpreted the law exactly as it was written, He instructed me that my "interpretation was wrong because I had not interpret the law as Discover Card Officials had interpreted it." (Why doesn't the FDIC investigate this honyoker and his bank accounts? I'll insert his name here later so all of you will know who he is)
The FDIC has been put in place to protect us from predatory companies such as Discover Card. However, the reality is that the FDIC CLEARLY protects the predatory companies from mine and your complaints against their unethical practices. MORE LATER
